Beep, beep, beep…the alarm went off at 4a.m. this morning. After saying good morning to a few mosquitoes and getting ready, we loaded up the yellow bus and headed to Angkor Wat to watch the sunrise. After exploring the temple ruins we went back to the hotel for breakfast. We then spent the rest of the morning exploring Hindu (now Buddhist) temples and talking with BJ and Darren about the challenges and opportunities they face here in Cambodia. We have enjoyed learning about the culture and religion here as well as getting to know the Action Cambodia team members and we are looking forward to a VBS program on Saturday and a week-long youth camp starting on Monday. (update by Karrie and Garret)

I imagine it was totally worth it to get up at 4:00 a.m. to see the sunrise…..can’t wait to see the pics!
May our Lord continue to bless you all with excellent health, and to keep the bad mosquitos away….to have renewed strength and energy every day even as God’s mercies are new every morning…
Judges 5:31 But let all the people who love you be as strong as the rising sun!”
God be with you all day every day as His love shines through you and the people see Jesus. Will be praying for many to come to know Christ through VBS and youth camp..ya’ll take care!
